Principal Page by Ms. Wall

Greetings to the members of our Jefferson Bears Community.   The West Allis-West Milwaukee School District has been my home since I first graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in education.  Before coming to Jefferson, I was a special education teacher at Franklin School for nineteen years.   I have spent the last nine years at Jefferson in the role of school principal.  During my time here, I have watched this school evolve into a diverse learning community where we emphasize the college and career readiness skills needed to equip our children to meet the challenges of their future.  I am a proud resident of the east side of West Allis and am excited by the changes that have been taking place to make our community strong and proud.

My life brings me joy each day because I get to work with 581 children with dreams and the promise of what is to come.   Our kids keep me grounded and hopeful about our changing world.  I hope that you take every opportunity to be involved in your child's education, whether by volunteering to chaperone for a field trip or to help out in the classroom, or by supporting your child by getting him/her to school on time each day.  By working together, we can make this the best possible experience for your child.

Please call or stop by anytime that you have a question or a suggestion for how to improve our school.  Your feedback is important.   We want Jefferson School to be the best school for all of our students.
